Academic, Study and Public Visits

How does LNEC develop its research work? How do our engineers, chemists, architects, and technicians evaluate projects of bridges, dams, and buildings, materials and construction elements, such as cement, concrete, coatings, insulation, and framing elements?. How do our laboratories, physical models and shaking table operate?

LNEC regularly receives visits from students from all areas and levels of education, domestic and foreign, as well as from the general public.

After the official request and scheduling of the visit, visitors must present themselves at LNEC’s main reception, at Avenida do Brasil, 101, in Lisbon, at the agreed day and time.
