António José Santos is responsible for the areas daylighting and artificial lighting and solar radiation and is also coordinator of the Photometry and Colorimetry Laboratory (UFC) within the scope of the Testing and Metrology structure (LNEC-EM) at LNEC. He has participated in several national and international R&D projects and is also a member of national and international scientific and technical committees in the domains of standardization in daylighting, electric lighting and related areas. He collaborates with national universities as an advisor and co-supervisor of master's theses and as a guest speaker. He is the author of more than 300 publications, including articles in magazines, books and book chapters, written communications, LNEC Reports and Technical Notes, among other publications.
