        Buildings thermal quality

        Energy efficiency in buildings

        Thermal rehabilitation of buildings

        Environmental sustainability

Thermal comfort in buildings’ indoor environments

        Pathologies in buildings

        Infrared thermography in buildings

        DEVELOPED ACTIVITY

The main scientific research activities of the Researcher Assistant have been developed in the following areas: Building's Thermal Quality, with the assessment and characterization of thermal insulation materials and solutions, and studies of pathologies associated to inadequate performance of this type of materials; Energy Efficiency and Thermal Comfort in buildings, with the carrying out of several research studies aimed at achieving greater environmental sustainability in Portuguese buildings (PhD), a decrease of energy consumption (and consequent CO2 emissions) and an easier adaptation to climate change.
