        ACADEMIC AND SCIENTIFIC DEGREES 

        PhD in Organisational and Social Psychology – specialisation in Social Psychology by ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) (2006).

        MScs in Organisational and Social Psychology – specialisation in Social Cognition by ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) (1996).

        Graduation in Clinical Psychology by ISPA – University Institute (ISPA-IU) (1990).


        FUNCTIONS AND RELEVANT PUBLIC POSITIONS 

        Researcher at LNEC: Research Officer (since 2006); Research Assistant (1999-2006); Research Trainee (1991-1999).

        Guest lecturer at Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Lusíada University; disciplines: Research Seminar and Research Methodologies (2010-2018).

        Guest lecturer at the Institute for Intercultural and Transdisciplinary Studies at the Piaget Institute; disciplines: Research Methodologies (2008-2009).


        MAIN AREAS OF RESEARCH/INTEREST 

        Nature-based solutions for promoting health and well-being in cities; the relationship between exposure to nature and improved physical and psychological health; the socio-environmental impacts of renature processes in cities.

        Pro-environmental attitudes and behaviours, literacy regarding the efficient use of natural resources, and factors influencing the conservation of natural resources and environmental sustainability.

        Social acceptance, social acceptability, and attitudes towards innovative solutions, products, and technologies in the water and construction sectors.


        RESEARCH ACTIVITY 

        Participation in national and international research projects with external funding and preparation of applications (H2020, HORIZON EUROPE, Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership, EEA Grants, FCT).

        Dissemination of the research activities results through technical and scientific publications (papers, book chapters, technical reports) and oral presentations/lectures.

        Participation in juries for academic examinations and scientific papers reviewer.
