Technical and Public Relations Office

In 1960, LNEC created the first Public Relations office of the Portuguese public administration.

In a society experiencing rapid social, political, and technological development, LNEC was experiencing dynamism and institutional statements. The creation of the first Public Relations office in a particular area such as public administration shows an emblematic cutting-edge spirit.

Thus, the Technical and Public Relations Office (GRPT), with a history of more than six decades of supporting LNEC's activities,  currently carries out its functions in the following areas:

•  Organization of visits and relations with the public
•  Contacts with the media
•  Support for research cooperation
• Training ships and sabbatical leaves
